Loretta Guzzi / Board Member

Loretta’s interest in intellectually disabled individual comes from an academic standpoint.  Loretta worked for the Centerville School System in Special Education for 27 years. Loretta’s interest in CCBI started as a teacher.  She wanted to improve the availability of services to her students after they entered the, “outside world.” Loretta can document successes of her students who have structured supports in place upon high school graduation.  Loretta is an advocate for consumers and the staff who work tirelessly for them. She is vocal in support of adequate training and fair compensation for our health care employees. Loretta has been helpful in policy development and analysis for CCBI.  Loretta sees a need for community awareness of what CCBI can do for consumers and for state policies that support good care.
